Real change is coming to America because of the support of hundreds of thousands of Georgians and Americans just like you. Because of your hard work, Georgia is one of America’s newest battleground states.
But our work is not yet done. Jim Martin, our Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate, faces a runoff on December 2 with Republican Saxby Chambliss. Jim has a lifetime of experience fighting for Georgia’s middle class, while Saxby has established himself over six years in the Senate as a powerful ally of the special interests and corporate lobbyists. Jim will fight to support President Obama in the Senate, while Saxby Chambliss has told Georgia that he will do everything in his power to stonewall and filibuster President Obama’s vision of change.

Now you can use the same online tool that the Obama for America campaign used to get out the vote to help us turn out Democrats for the December 2 runoff. Just click the link above or below and use the same my.barackobama.com login you used in the general election. If this is your first time using my.barackobama.com, then just create a new user login and you will be given a list of Democrats to call and encourage to get out to vote on December 2nd. We’ll even give you a script of what to say.
We also have another runoff for Georgia Public Service Commission, where Democrat Jim Powell faces Republican Lauren McDonald. The PSC controls the rates you pay for electricity and natural gas, and with energy prices skyrocketing, Georgia needs a real advocate like Jim Powell, to make sure that consumers are protected. In addition to his dedication to consumer advocacy, Jim Powell has a real vision for Georgia’s energy future - a vision that includes alternative energy like wind, solar, and biomass. The best way to help is by calling Democratic voters and encouraging them to get out to vote on December 2nd.
