Obama gains superdelegate lead
Posted by Cristina ChangFor the first time in the 2008 Democratic primary race, Sen. Barack Obama has finally overcome his Democratic superdelegate deficit, and now leads, 277 to 274.5. The candidate also leads by well over 750,000 popular votes and triple digits in pledged delegates. The Associated Press has him leading by 1,588.5 pledged delegates in total, to 1425.5 for Sen. Clinton.
