Join the Asian Law Caucus in a discussion about the role of blogs in our community, how they change they way which we receive information, and their role in social justice advocacy and organizing. Blogging plays a significant role in mainstream media allowing the average individual to partake in journalism.
A panel of prominent bloggers & activists and their recent impact on social movements.

Keith Kamisugi, Asian Law Caucus, Equal Justice Society;
Jeff Chang, Vibe, Huffington Post, 2008 USA Ford Fellow;
Michael Cabanatuan, San Francisco Chronicle;
James Rucker, Huffington Post, Colorofchange.org;(invited);
Tim Jones, Electronic Frontier Foundation;
Neela Banerjee, New American Media (invited).
Jeff Chang covered the 2008 Presidential Election for Vibe and Huffington Post. He was just named the 2008 United States Ford Fellow in Literature. Keith Kamisugi is Director of Communications at Equal Justice Society and serves on various Boards including the Asian Law Caucus. Keith was heavily involved in Asian Americans for Obama 2008. Michael Cabanatuan is a journalist for the San Francisco Chronicle, blogger, and President of the Northern California Media Workers Guild TNG-CWA. Tim Jones is a technologist and activist for the San Francisco-based Electronic Frontier Foundation. Tim was part of the Dean for America internet team in 2004. James Rucker covered the 2008 Presidential Campaign for Huffington Post and started Colorforchange.org. James is formerly a Director of Grassroots Mobilization for Moveon.org.
