Capital Area Asian American Democrats Voter Registration Drive in Austin, TX on 10/6

Posted by Eugenia

Next Monday, October 6th, is the deadline to register to vote in the November 4th election in Texas.  The Capital Area Asian American Democrats will be joining with Democrats around Travis County for a marathon voter registration drive at dozens of sites from 8 AM to Midnight on Oct. 6; we will be running the voter reg location at MT Supermarket in the Chinatown Shopping Center at 10901 N. Lamar Blvd in Austin.

Please sign up for one of the following volunteer shifts by e-mailing me at ramey.ko@gmail.com:

- 12 PM - 4 PM
- 4 PM - 8 PM
- 8 PM - 12 AM

If you can only volunteer for part of a shift, please let me know.  If you haven’t been deputized as a voter registrar, please try to do so this week.  You can be deputized by visiting the Travis County Coordinated Campaign HQ at 1107 N. I-35 (between 11th and 12th Streets on the east side of I-35 next to the CVS) or the Travis County Tax Assessor-Collectors Office at 5501 Airport Blvd.  Deputization is not mandatory to volunteer (we will make sure to have a registrar available for every shift to sign registration forms), but it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Our work can make the difference in critical races this election, including taking out the remaining Republicans in Travis County!  Thanks for volunteering!

Ramey Ko
President
