for President of the United States.

This Saturday, February 10, Senator Barack Obama will make announce his decision to run for President of the United States at 10:00 AM.
If you’re in Austin, join Texans for Obama for a Breakfast and Announcement Party at 9:30 AM this Saturday at Mitchie’s Art Gallery at 6406 N. IH-35, Suite #2800, Austin, TX 78752.
To see a list of announcement events by the Obama Exploratory Commitee for February 10-12, visit the Announcement Tour page of the Obama Exploratory Committee website. For those in Illinois and Iowa, there are several great opportunities to be there for this historic announcement.
If there aren’t any events in your area, plan your own! Get your friends, family, and community together for an announcement party, and kick off your local organizing and volunteer effort with a bang!
Be sure to collect contact information from everybody who attends, and encourage them to visit our website. Let us know about any local events (this week and in the future), and we will post them on this website. Remember that local newspapers, magazines, and other publications often offer free listings for community events, and take advantage of local Asian American businesses and community centers to spread the word! It’s also free to post on websites such as Craigslist.
